How E-Max veneers are made
The technology for manufacturing lumineers is quite simple. It looks like this:
- Taking impressions. They are sent to a dental laboratory. The technician then casts an exact model of the teeth from plaster
- Modeling. The prosthesis is modeled on a plaster model made of wax, giving it the required shape and structure. The material is then used to create a mold into which the ceramic will be poured
- Ceramic pressing. The lithium disilicate ceramic block is sent to a special furnace. There it is heated to high temperatures and under pressure takes the form of a wax blank
After pressing, the ceramic veneer is processed manually. To give a natural shine, glaze is applied to the overlay. This layer makes the surface of the denture as close as possible to natural tooth enamel.
