This is an X-ray method for examining teeth, volumetric computed tomography, which is performed on a special device - a tomograph, in front of which a person stands or sits. A movable platform moves around the patient’s head, and a special tube emits a cone-shaped beam, which allows for more than 600 projections of the area under study. At the same time, the radiation exposure in our center is very low and safe for the body. The information is processed and converted into a three-dimensional digital image. This method reproduces a three-dimensional reconstruction of the maxillofacial region, much more accurate than two-dimensional methods (which provide only 20% confidence).
You can make an appointment for CBCT of the jaws in our clinic by phone or on the website. Or come in person (addresses in Moscow). You must have a doctor’s referral with you, but patients can contact us on their own to conduct the study. If available, take CT scans from previous examinations.
This award is given to clinics with the highest ratings according to user ratings, a large number of requests from this site, and in the absence of critical violations.

About the service
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) of the jaws is a technique for obtaining diagnostic volumetric 3D images of any part of the maxillofacial region, teeth, canals, soft tissues, etc. It is used in dentistry, implantology, surgery, orthodontics, as well as in otorhinolaryngology (to assess the condition of the paranasal sinuses).
CBCT in dentistry allows you to get an accurate picture and complete information about the condition of the teeth and the entire maxillofacial region with minimal radiation exposure (lower than conventional X-ray), as well as to ensure control over the survival of implants, etc.
In our center, patients can do a cone beam computed tomography using modern new equipment. The procedure is available both in the direction of the attending dentist, and at the request of the patient.
The use of dental computed tomography provides a reduction in total radiation load on the patient, including due to a decrease in the total number of radiological diagnostic procedures.
