Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is based on the influence of natural and physical factors, such as: cold, heat, ultrasound, magnetic field, electric current of various frequencies, laser, etc. on body tissue, which gives a pronounced preventive and healing effect.

Physiotherapy treatment is used in various fields of medicine, since physiotherapy procedures help to reduce treatment time due to:

  • activation of metabolic processes;
  • improve microcirculation in tissues;
  • increase the sensitivity of the body to drug treatment (which allows to reduce the dose of drugs used);
  • accelerate wound healing;
  • normalization of muscle tone.

Physiotherapy is effective for chronic and sluggish diseases - it accelerates recovery and gives a more lasting result.

Physiotherapy is used:

  • diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system;
  • diseases of the nervous system;
  • skin diseases;
  • gynecological diseases: chronic inflammatory processes of the uterus and appendages, adhesions, menstrual irregularities, preparation for pregnancy;
  • urological diseases: erectile dysfunction, chronic prostatitis;
  • after operations, including to prevent adhesions;
  • various pain syndromes;
  • in cosmetology.

Physiotherapy procedures in our center are carried out using the BTL-5000 Combi combined apparatus . This unique device combines 4 types of therapies:

  • Electrotherapy with all types of medium and low frequency currents.
  • Multifrequency ultrasound systems and emitters (1 and 3 MHz).
  • Advanced laser therapy with high power red and infrared probes.
  • Magnetotherapy.
  • The ability to simultaneously carry out two therapies in one procedure, which saves time.

Procedures that are performed using the BTL-5000 Combi apparatus are painless, safe and provide maximum comfort in the process.

Physiotherapy procedures are contraindicated, therefore, before starting a course of treatment, it is necessary to consult a physiotherapist.

Physiotherapy Methods

Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is a physiotherapy method that is based on the use of dosed effects of electric currents on the body: magnetic or electromagnetic fields. Electrotherapy leads to an improvement in the state of central and peripheral circulation, metabolism, microcirculation and tissue trophism, neurohumoral regulation and impaired immune processes.

Ultrasound therapy

Ultrasound therapy has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, resolving effects. Under the influence of ultrasound, the conduction of impulses along the peripheral nerve fiber increases - the excitability of the neuromuscular apparatus increases, and regenerative processes accelerate.

Indications for ultrasound therapy are:

  • diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthrosis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis);
  • digestive diseases (peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum);
  • ENT organs (tonsillitis, pharyngitis);
  • urological (prostatitis);
  • gynecological (salpingo-oophoritis);
  • injuries and diseases of the peripheral nervous system;
  • eye (conjunctivitis, keratitis);
  • dental (periodontal disease).

Laser therapy

Laser therapy is a physiotherapy method used in the treatment of various diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Laser therapy eliminates pain, swelling in the tissues, has an anti-inflammatory effect, has a positive effect on the immune system, improves healing processes. Laser therapy, among other things, stimulates metabolic processes in the body with degenerative-dystrophic diseases of both the spine and joints.

Magnetotherapy

Magnetotherapy is one of the methods of physiotherapy that is used in conservative treatment and in the process of rehabilitation and recovery after surgery on the musculoskeletal system and spine. This method improves blood supply to the brain and spinal cord, saturates the heart myocardium with oxygen - this has a beneficial effect on blood sugar, blood pressure, and immunity. Magnetotherapy complements other components of the complex of the rehabilitation process, which avoids the full or partial use of drugs, reduces the risk of unwanted side effects, and helps to achieve positive treatment results.
