How does the procedure work?

The dermatoscope itself is a device with an illuminator and a magnifying glass. The doctor runs it over the surface of the skin and carefully examines it. If necessary, photographs of the object under study are taken for further analysis and comparison.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis, i.e. it does not require hospitalization. On average (depending on the area being examined) it takes about 15-20 minutes. After the examination, the doctor prepares a detailed report that describes the condition of the skin areas being examined.
